“It’s a marvelous night for a moondance…”
A dream turned reality for two women will be the first business to open its doors at Firestone Farms Town Center, and co-owner Peggy Cosma Christy, along with her business partner Melinda Lipply Kinser, couldn’t be more excited.
“I’ve had the dream of opening my own boutique in the back of my mind since I was a teenager,” said Christy.
As longtime friends and neighbors, Christy and Kinser began brainstorming during a beach vacation, and soon Peggy’s life-long dream became a shared goal for the the two women – resulting in the opening of Moondance Boutique.
“It is so amazing to have this become a reality for us,” Kinser said. “We’ve worked very hard to make this dream happen, and we’ve had some amazing angels looking over us.”
Shopping at Moondance Boutique
Whether you like a little sparkle in your wardrobe, or prefer a more earthy, bohemian style, Peggy and Melinda have what you are looking for.
Moondance Boutique specializes in upscale, classic women’s clothing. They proudly offer the Clotheshead® Collection of novelty tops and separates, which has a combination of youthful styling and comfortable fit. The designs flatter every figure because they are made to reveal – and conceal – in all the right places, and women with a “forever young attitude” love the line’s innovative designs.
Moondance Boutique, however, proudly offers more than just stylish clothing. They also display a variety of Via Fiori handbags, which are made from quality vegan leather, as well as an eclectic collection of fine and fashion jewelry.
Moondance Boutique is delighted to bring its shopping experience to the new Firestone Farms complex, since both Melinda and Peggy have lived in the Mahoning Valley for over 30 years. Their hope is to offer a relaxing atmosphere where women can enjoy their experience by shopping for items that allow them to feel confident and successful.
Tom Mackall, developer for Firestone Farms Town Center, believes that Harvey S. Firestone (the tire mogul for whom the complex was named) would be excited to see the potential in Peggy and Melinda’s business, location and overall business venture. Firestone Farms will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Moondance Boutique on Friday December 9, 2016, at noon. Their address is 127 Town Center Ave. Columbiana, Ohio – Firestone Farms.
